How to send images on WhatsApp Business

Learn how to send an image in the header of a WhatsApp Business bulk send from AFRUS.

Images are sent in a template's header, as part of a bulk send. Labels are shown as they appear in the Spanish console.
Step by step
- Create a template with an image. Under Contenido multimedia choose Imagen and click "Subir" (JPEG or PNG up to 5MB). Wait for Meta's approval.
- Have the image in the AFRUS gallery. The image uploaded in the template is only used for Meta's review and isn't saved in the gallery. Upload it to the gallery with "Subir imagen" (Upload image).
- Choose the image in the send. In the Blast, under Mapeo de Variables, section Media del Encabezado (Header media), click "Seleccionar media de la galerĂa" and choose the image (up to 5MB).
Every recipient gets that same image.
Frequently asked questions
Can I send videos?
For now, a Blast with a video template can't be sent from AFRUS. Use an image or an Ir al sitio web (website) button linking to the video.
Can I attach files in Conversations?
No, it isn't available yet.
