Learn how to change the charge date (and amount) of a recurring donation from the subscription detail.

If a donor asks to be charged on a different day, you can change the charge date from AFRUS. Labels are shown as they appear in the Spanish version of the console.

Step by step

Open the subscription. In Suscripciones, click the row's ID.
Click "Modificar" (Modify). Depending on the gateway, one of three windows opens:
- "Modificar fecha" (Change date): choose Fecha automática (recomendada) (Automatic date), Fecha de creación de la suscripción (Creation date) or Fecha manual (Manual date: a day from 1 to 28 in Fecha de cobro).
- "Modificar Suscripción" with "Fecha actual de cobro:" (Current charge date): choose a date after today in Fecha (Date).
- "Modificar Suscripción" without the current date: choose a date from tomorrow on in Fecha.
In all of them you can also change the amount.
Save and confirm. Click "Guardar" (Save) and then confirm.

You will see a subscription-updated message. If it was Activa (Active), it stays Activa.

Frequently asked questions

Can it be undone?

Yes: click "Modificar" again and set the previous date.

Why can't I change it?

Some gateways don't allow it from AFRUS ("Este gateway actualmente no soporta la actualización de suscripciones."), and subscriptions waiting for the payer's acceptance cannot be modified. With Recurrent Payments there is no date field: the charge day depends on the day the donor paid and moves earlier over time, possibly until it reaches the first day of the month.

Why is the message in English?

In the "Modificar fecha" window the confirmation appears as "Update subscription". This is expected.
