Learn how to send a WhatsApp Business Blast to a segment, personalized with each contact's data.

Before you start

The "Enviar blast masivo" (Send bulk blast) button must be enabled.
You need an Aprobada (Approved) template that is not Authentication.

Step by step

Start the send. In WhatsApp Business > Blast, click "Enviar blast masivo".
Name it and choose the segment. Fill in Nombre del envío (send name), choose the segment in Seleccionar segmento and click "Continuar".
Choose number and template. Choose the Número de teléfono and the template in Plantilla de mensaje.
Map the variables. In Mapeo de Variables (Variable mapping), assign a contact field to each variable. If the template has media, click "Seleccionar media de la galería" (Select media from gallery).
Test the message. Use "Enviar prueba" (Send test) to receive it on your number.
Check your quota. Click "Enviar" and check Estado de Cuota Diaria (Daily quota status).
Send or schedule. Choose Enviar ahora (Send now) or Programar fecha (Schedule) and confirm.

In the send's detail you will see each recipient's status: En cola (Queued), Enviado (Sent), Entregado (Delivered), Leído (Read), Error or No enviado (Not sent).

Frequently asked questions

Who receives the message?

Contacts in the segment with a phone number, except those who rejected the WhatsApp Business channel and numbers Meta reported as "not on WhatsApp" (for 90 days).

What if my quota isn't enough?

You will see Cuota Diaria Insuficiente. If you send anyway, the send moves to Límite alcanzado (Limit reached) and resumes on its own when quota is available.
